just 2 of my UNFINISHED projects....

Primrose Cottage kit.  I haven't decided which direction to go in as yet - - shabby chic cottage?  thatched Irish cottage? or ??

This is an online project which I really struggled with drawing my own templates,  using materials I hadn't used before, and making mistakes.

The interior needs a lot of work, especially the floor.  This project was plastered and I didn't do it properly so it's pretty fragile.  The floor is covered at the moment with paper.  Underneath it's uneven plaster and tiles.

Still lots of work to do in trying to salvage this project.

Still finding things to add to the interior of Ratty's House.  Either in my mini stash or on Etsy and eBay:

more about my Ratty's House

The house plaque is one I purchased at the Kensington DollsHouse Festival last year; I added some pussy willows to the plantings as well as the ducks and heron; and the fishing gear to the deck.
Inside I'm still deciding what furniture to use and how to arrange it.  Whether to have a bed or a hammock in the loft.
Ratty is by Miss Sally World.
He's reading "The Wind in the Willows" and has laid in a big supply of cheese.  There's a picture of him with his pals Mr. Toad, Badger and Mole is above the mantle.

The interior is still in transition.

RATTY's HOUSE by Rik Pierce

Before having to cancel Rik Pierce's "Ratty's House" class a couple of years ago I was all primed to create having bought a Ratty and all kinds of minis so I was very very disappointed.  I kept asking Rik when he planned to schedule another class - nothing till this May when we would be away in Ireland.
Big disappointment again!!
So my dear husband purchased Rik's model as a belated birthday present for me and since then I have been having fun playing with it trying out all the bits and pieces I'd purchased years ago for the house.

Still playing . . . trying to decide on bed vs hammock in the loft and what and where furniture.  Also the photo of Ratty and his pals above the mantel is pretty hard to see.
